Shisaka (meaning 'nest' in Tsonga) Camp is aptly named after the nest-like structures (salas) situated on the roofs of the suites.
Shisaka Camp's 6 luxury suites and 2 family villas are positioned in a Tamboti thicket along the water's edge. The elegant, semi-circular suites are designed to blend in with the natural surroundings while maximising the views of the river.

Shisaka camp's opulent riverside suites feature calming colours and cooling textures. Each suite has a cozy lounge area and a sizeable bedroom with a luxurious king-sized bed overlooking the water.
The bedroom leads to a considerable and ultra luxurious en-suite bathroom which boasts a free-standing tub, and a rain shower with breath-taking views.
Step out onto your private deck
The suite's large glass sliding doors allow guests to feel fully immersed in the natural surroundings, while a sizable shaded timber deck contains an outdoor lounge dining table and a private infinity pool to unwind and relax while being totally immersed in the environment.
A distinctive feature of the suites at Shisaka are the nest-like structures situated above the suites which provide a unique space for having quiet-time in nature, while having the perfect vantage point to enjoy the endless views of the river and the reserve.

The game drives were fantastic, our driver Andries with tracker Moses made a formidable team and they delivered on every drive always placing the vehicle in the best position for photos. Both men were extremely knowledgeable on when and where the animals would be and this allowed for the best game drives we have ever had.Steve Fallon.
